“It begins with you” is an after school special education program working with the San Antonio area foundation and the Big GIVE SA  geared to help children with disabilities in our community.
The challenging needs of Special education students have placed additional burdens on teachers and other school staff which has led to a decline in their high school completion. 

We intend to bridge this gap by providing after school tutorials using the brainchild ( tablet which works for 12hrs/ without wifi ) to enable the student's study after school, at home and weekends on STAAR aligned curriculum designed to help them keep up, catch and surpass their peers. 
We would also be providing mentoring, college readiness, job interview preparation, transportation and support
